There shall be a conservation area within the island of Funafuti to be called the Funafuti Conservation Area. 2. The boundaries of the Funafuti Conservation Area, which are more particularly delineated in Schedule 2 are — North: The centre of the channel between the islets of Tepuka and Tepuka vilivili * South: 1. 11 km south of Tefala Islet * East: Along the 30m depth contour on the lagoon side of the islets following a line between co-ordinates shown in the table below. The northern and southernmost coordinates are marked by orange buoys. West: The 20m depth contour along the ocean side reef slope (the deep water drop off or ‘Tafalua’). 2.
