For the latest event info visit: FutureStarsSeries.com/iw WELCOME TO THE 2020 INTERNATIONAL WEEK On behalf of New Balance Baseball and PROGRAM 15, I would like to welcome all families, players, coaches, scouts, and fans to the 4th Annual Future Stars Series International Week. This year’s event will give the world a chance to see some of the most talented amateur players from across the world representing the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Netherlands, the JEREMY BOOTH Bahamas, Panama, and the Virgin Islands. I know I can speak for the NBFSS Family in saying that we are especially proud to be able to give the players on the National and World team rosters the opportunity to experience the game of baseball on the big stage in front of prominent scouts from around the League. Friday, in Games 1 and 2, we'll see the World and National Teams go head to head at legendary Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox and the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. Since 1912 Fenway has hosted 11 World Series. So, it’s truly an honor to have this historical park host the Future Stars Series International Week Main Event doubleheader. Saturday we head to Northeast Delta Dental Stadium for Game 3. Perched on the shore of the Merrimack River in the heart of downtown Manchester, NH the ballpark is home to the Toronto Blue Jays Double-A Team, New Hampshire Fisher Cats. This weekend is squarely focused on shining the spotlight on the abilities of these incredible young men. Our entire staff is dedicated to furthering these players development and making this experience an important stepping stone that leads each player to success in life through the game of baseball. It’s certainly been exciting to watch these players progress over the last four years. If you look back at the first three International Week rosters, you’ll find the names of 40 players who went on to be selected during the 2018, 2019 and 2020 MLB Drafts. So hold on this program to see how many of this year’s future stars pop up next June during the 2021 MLB Draft. The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heroes of tomorrow; it’s about discovering and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for an education, opportunities for a future. Again, on behalf of New Balance Baseball and PROGRAM 15, we are incredibly grateful that you are part of this chapter in our mission to CHANGE THE GAME!
