In his first season at the helm of the Bulldogs, he led the University squad to a 10-3 start to the season that included the Fresno Location Des Moines, Iowa State Classic championship and a program-record five wins Founded 1881 in the month of November. In three seasons on the Utah Team Information bench, he amassed a 54-40 record. 2013-14 Record 15-16 Prior to taking the reins at Utah, he served as the head coach at Eastern Washington University where he went 69-50 in four seasons, the best mark of any coach in the school’s NCAA Division I 2013-14 MVC Record 6-12 history. He guided the Eagles to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004, as well as the 2013-14 H/A/N Record 9-5/4-9/2-2 Big Sky Conference regular-season and tournament titles. In each of Giacoletti’s first three years, Starters Returning/Lost 2/3 the Eagles placed second in the Big Sky during the regular season and advanced to the tournament Letterwinners Returning/Lost 6/4 championship game.
