Terra Nova Expedition Services An Expedition Company We are able to offer any destination, in any country, on all seven continents; which brings a unique experience in school and college expeditions. We don’t use brochures; each trip is planned from scratch and tailored to meet the schools needs. Destinations Overview We travel to each continent- from 1 week to 4 week trips. Terra Nova Expedition Services Prices We aim to price a three week ‘frontier’ trip at no more than £3700. Northern Europe destinations at all under £2000; £1500 or £1000. We aim to price a 4 week ‘classic’ expedition no higher than £4500. One week- 10 day expeditions to certain destinations are £1200. Training • All expeditions have up to three weekends training. Focusing on the type of trip. • Remote first Aid for all teachers • Two day Firearm course for Arctic Expeditions • Teacher training weekend Leaders All leaders attend each training weekend. TNES employs leaders that have done a minimum of 5 overseas expeditions; they are all highly qualified and experienced. Terra Nova Expedition Services Insurance All participants are covered via comprehensive travel insurance which covers medical, repatriation and rescue. Safety TNES is audited by British Standards 8848 The provision for Overseas and Adventurous expeditions. Interviews We interview each student wanting to go on the expeditions. This aims to find out why a student wants to go on an expedition and what they want to gain from the experience. Post Expedition Each expedition has a post expedition presentation for students/teachers and parents. .
