St. Nikolas Wooden Church Restoration of the wooden roof of the historic St. Nicholas in the Transcarpathian village of Kolodne, 16th c. Grantee: Zakarpattia Oblast Administration ($37,100). Cossack Fortification in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast The excavation of the Cossack fortification Mykytynska Sich buried beneath the town of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 17th Century. Grantee: Nikopol Natural History Museum ($29,100). Crimean Tatar Culture The preservation and promotion of Crimean Tatar culture though collection and digitalization of ancient songs, traditions and handicrafts. Grantee: Commonwealth (Spivdruzhnist, NGO) ($17,760). Ancient Book Preservation The purchase of a leaf casting machine for the preservation of rare books and archival materials.
