Photo by Daniel Curiel Photographic 4 Welcome to the VT Construction SILVER STATE 300 Presented by Polaris RZR Dear Off-Road Racing Community, The entire Best In The Desert staff welcomes you back to doing what we all love – Off-Road Racing! While waiting for the opportunity to race again, our staff has been busy getting ready, making plans, and setting up new guidelines that make Best In The Desert racing both exciting and safe at the same time. First – great news - the VT Construction Silver State 300 brought to you by Polaris RZR IS HERE. We’ve retooled the rest of the year to get in as many races as possible to complete the 2020 season. Here are the latest updates: The 2020 Maxxis Tires “Casey Folks” Vegas to Reno Presented by Fox will take place as planned on Aug. 12-15, 2020. It will be the biggest and best Vegas to Reno race ever held with an all-new start near Beatty and 60 miles of racecourse not used in several years. The Jagged X National Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports will replace the Battle Born 250 and take place on Sept. 25-27, 2020. The Battle Born 250 has been dropped from the 2020 schedule. The 2020 BlueWater Desert Challenge will be held on Oct 22-25, 2020 pending the reopening of the Blue Water Resort. This race will close out the 2020 Best In The Desert race season and the Maxxis Triple Crown. Best In The Desert is implementing the following social distancing precautions at the VT Construction Silver State 300 Presented by Polaris RZR to ensure that events stay safe for everyone involved: • Registration will have scheduled times per class to register and will be limited to only those racers who need armbands and parents to minors. • Contingency will have a new format n place to avoid direct contact with our contingency team. • Tech will also be a new format. • The driver’s meeting will be held virtually via Facebook Live. Not as a face-to-face group meeting. • Trophies will be presented at the finish line at the Ford Mesa. Our goal is to make certain that your experience with us is nothing short of exceptional and safe. We strive to ensure that your participation and enthusiasm for the sport of off-road racing meets the professionalism you expect and deserve. Be safe, have fun and Welcome Back to Off-Road Racing at its finest. 5 28x10.00R14 / 30x10.00R14 / 32x10.00R14 29x9.50R15 / 32x10.00R15 6 28x10.00R14
