How to find us: Public Transport from Glasgow Airport The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit is located in the West End of Glasgow on the campus of the University of Glasgow. Service 500 – Glasgow Shuttle This is a non-stop service between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow’s two main rail stations. Approximate journey time is 25 minutes (a little longer on the return journey [Glasgow to the Airport] as it stops to pick up at locations in the city centre). At Glasgow Airport the bus departs outside the main exit. On arrival in Glasgow leave the bus at Queen Street Station (on George Square) and connect with the underground train at Buchanan Street Subway Station (Queen Street Rail Station is an interchange station with Buchanan Street Station Subway Station). At Buchanan Street Subway Station take the Inner Circle line to Hillhead Station (approximate journey time is 10 minutes). Service 474 – AirLink CityService This is not a non-stop service and therefore takes longer but offers the option of alighting at Partick Rail Station. Partick Rail Station is an interchange station with Patrick Subway Station. From Partick Subway Station it is 2 stops on the Outer Circle line to Hillhead Station (approximate journey time 5 minutes). Directions from Hillhead Subway Station to SPHSU, 4 Lilybank Gardens: Exit Hillhead Station on Byres Road, go right along Byres Road, turn first right into Great George Street, walk up Great George Street (past M&S Simply Food and Lilybank Car Park).
