2010 ANNUAL REPORT SOME NUMBERS MEAN MORE WITHOUT DOLLAR SIGNS. When it comes to giving, sometimes the most important amounts are the lives affected as a result of generosity. This year we were able to give 60 grants to agencies and organizations. As each organization we support touches thirty, sixty or hundreds of lives, we multiply our seed by empowering them to do great things for others and extend the reach beyond our grants. LIVES 2,300+ IMPACTED To help build strong, supportive communities, the Foundation supports initiatives that strengthen families, parishes and those suffering from poverty, 23 10 discrimination and violence. The Foundation supports Catholic schools and religious education programs that provide formation and Christ-based learning for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. NEW LEADERS 600+ OF TOMORROW The Church needs effective leaders if it is to move boldly into the new millennium. Parishes, schools and agencies must have leaders who are able to engage people in creating a shared vision for the future while developing sound strategies and infrastructures to achieve the vision.
