Bruce, Jeanne and Emily Rice in the Philippines Westside Baptist College of Ministry Salug Valley Baptist Church Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte Molave, Zamboanga del Sur Baptisms in Molave in January, March and May August 3, 2019 Five weeks ago today, Jeanne, Emily and I arrived home in Dipolog City, after being on furlough in the United States for a year. The members of Westside Baptist Church had prepared a very nice meal and were gathered at the church to welcome us when we arrived from the airport. The following week we drove down to visit Salug Valley Baptist Church and they also prepared a meal to welcome us home. We love these people and thank God Arrival at Westside Baptist Church, Dipolog City for the privilege of serving Him with them. During the 12 months we were gone, we visited over 70 churches in the United States, 4 churches in Canada and 2 in Trinidad. We renewed many old acquaintances and made some new ones. We are thankful for the four additional churches that have begun to support our mnistry in Mindanao. Please pray for us, there are so many things still to be done for the Lord on this island of 25 million people. Arrival at Salug Valley Baptist Church, Molave The new school year for Westside Baptist College of Ministry in Dipolog City began in June. The 29 students pictured here are enrolled in the full-time college program. There are another 9 students in the evening institute.
