Cisterna Chyli d. Identify the sections of the body drained by the right lymphatic and thoracic ducts. e. Determine the direction of blood and lymph movement between arterioles, blood and lymph capillaries, and venules. f. Describe the lymphatic system role with regard to lipids and lipid- soluble vitamins. 3. Return to the main Lymphatic System page and click the Thymus Gland. a. Identify the thymus gland. Note its location relative to the heart (covered by parietal pericardium in this view). b. What are the thymus gland functions? 4.
