It defines the structures and functions of all stu dent organizations on the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses of the University of Minnesota and lists those students who Tn~y be contacted concerning their group. The data contained in the Roster was compiled from information sub mitted by the student organizations which is kept on file in the Student Activ ities Bureau, 114 TSMa. The data includes the purpose of each organization, its membership, its meeting time, and its officers. Projects, committees, and programs sponsored by student organizations have been included in the body of the Roster. This was done to show the relationship of these groups to its sponsor, as well as to illustrate the wide variety of pro grams carried on by student organizations. In order to be an officially recog nizedstudent organization, each group must submit for approval its constitution and amendments to the Senate Committee on Student Affairs. It is one of the functions of the Student Activities Bureau to coordinate for the University all of these student organizations and their activities. Student groups are dynamic, hence the lnformation included in this documenti'is subject to constant change. We wish to be notified and welcome your suggestions of any changes in regard to the Roster information for your organ~zation.
