The School Board and I are commi ed to expanding our quality Pre-K Programs, increasing advanced placement opportuni es for college prepara on and expanding voca onal off erings for students. Just this school year, we’ve implemented an introduc on to coding skills for all our kindergarteners, foreign languages and Pre-K programs at every elementary school, and have added a brand-new manufacturing program at Lake Mary High School. The Florida Standards in Mathema cs and English Language Arts were approved by the Florida State Board of Educa on in February 2014 and were fully implemented in grades K–12 in Some students’ apparel, however, may not be appropriate to wear to school even though the 2014–2015 school year.
