Provide services to veterans on both the Addiction Recovery Service (ARS) and Team L (PTSD team). Provide a range of individual and group treatments for individuals with trauma and/or substance use concerns, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He provides psychological and cognitive assessments, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine and sleep interventions, and prevention- oriented services. Dr. Baardseth has training in multiple evidence-based practices, and he is currently a national consultant for Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Dr. Baardseth engages in program development for mental and behavioral health, while also supervising and training psychology interns and psychiatry medical residents. He is currently a board member on the Psychologist Professional Standards Board for the medical center.
