ILLUMINATOR’S SUNDAY SCHOOL ENDS ACADEMIC YEAR WITH CELEBRATION On Sunday June 2, the St. Illuminator's Sunday School celebrated its accomplishments at an end of year party. Teachers and students reflected on the different topics explored, including units on prayer, the Seven Sacraments, and the saints. Students also recalled the weekly bible readings that they read and discussed at the start of each class; their exploration of the Armenian Liturgical Calendar; and the letters they wrote to Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Prelate and Bishop Anoushavan Tanielian, Vicar. Èáõë³õáñÇã سÛñ ºÏ»Õ»óõáÛ Ø³ÛÇë 30, 2013 OUR GRADUATES Norika Boiatchian, daughter of Rosita Boiatchian, comes from a humble family where the values of hard work and persistence are never overlooked. Norika is a graduate of St. Illuminator’s Armenian Day school and Siamanto Academy. In 2009 she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She did not stop there. Recently she also earned a Masters of Arts Degree in International Affairs from The New School University. Norika has aspirations to work at the United Nations and continue on to Law School in the mean time. She made a promise to herself. Upon her graduation, she would work to ensure the progress of human kind. This promise is extended to the Armenian Community. She will always make sure to help all her fellow Armenians. We would like to congratulate Norika on reaching this milestone in life. Whatever path she takes, they won’t be the easy ones. Keep up the good work, Norika!!!
