28 . 7 . 81 Official Journal of the European Communities No L 208 / 1 I (Acts whose publication is obligatory) COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC) No 2116/ 81 of 23 July 1981 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 316/77 concerning the application of an anti­ dumping duty on chains , for cycles and motorcycles , originating in Taiwan THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the conversion rate of the European unit of COMMUNITIES , account into the Greek national currency does not appear in Regulation ( EEC) No 316/77 ; whereas , Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community , and in particular Article 113 consequent upon the accession of Greece , Regulation ( EEC) No 316/77 should be amended to take account thereof , of the drachma/European unit of account conversion Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) No rate , 3017/79 of 20 December 1979 on protection against dumped or subsidized imports from countries not HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : members of the European Economic Community ('), and in particular Article 14 thereof , Article 1 Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , The rates of conversion into national currencies set Whereas a definitive anti-dumping duty on chains, for out in Article 1 of Regulation ( EEC) No 316/77 are cycles and motor cycles , originating in Taiwan was hereby replaced by the following : imposed by Regulation ( EEC ) No 3 1 6/77 (2 ) ; ' Belgian and Luxembourg francs : 41-5751 German mark : 2-53579 Whereas the amount of that duty corresponded to the Dutch guilder : 2-81196 difference between the declared value of these Pound sterling : 0-540172 products and 1-39 European units of account, Danish krone : 7-98189 converted into national currencies in accordance with Greek drachma : 61-9753 the rates established in Regulation ( EEC ) No 316/77 ; French franc : 5-98430 Whereas the conversion rates of the European unit of Italian lira : 1 263-67 account into the various national currencies , as estab­ Irish pound : 0-695307 lished in Regulation ( EEC ) No 316/77 , were amended United States dollar : 1-20810 ' by Regulation ( EEC ) No 2571 /77 ( 3 ) to take account of Article 2 monetary fluctuations ; whereas these conversion rates have again changed because of further monetary fluc­ This Regulation shall enter into force on the 10th day tuations and Regulation ( EEC ) No 316/77 should following its publication in the Official Journal of therefore be amended accordingly ; the European Communities .
