Italy Baseball Tour Rome – San Marino – Parma - Milan (Sample Itinerary) General Program Day 1 AM: After arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) the team will be transferred to the Vatican City area for a visit of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. PM: Lunch on your own and then free time in Rome. Evening: Final transfer to your selected hotel in Rome area, check-in on your arrival, dinner and overnight (Rome) Day 2 AM: Breakfast and then morning transfer to Rome for a guided tour. PM: Lunch and free time in Rome. Late afternoon transfer to a local sport center for friendly game #1 vs. a local club. Pre or post game dinner included. Evening: Transfer back to hotel for overnight (Rome) Day 3 AM: Breakfast and check-out of hotel followed by an early morning bus transfer to San Marino. PM: Bus will stop in Rimini/Riccione and the group will have free time to spend at the beach and eat lunch. Later in the afternoon the group will transfer to a local sport center for training session #1 Evening: Final transfer to hotel in San Marino for check-in, dinner, and overnight. PM: Lunch and free time in the city followed by mid- afternoon transfer to a local sport center for your friendly game#2 vs a local club. Pre-game or post-game dinner included. Evening: Overnight at the hotel. (San Marino) Day 5 AM: Breakfast and check-out followed by transfer to Parma with a stop on the way at a local cheese factory. PM: Free time and lunch in Parma. Late afternoon transfer to selected hotel for check-in. Evening: Dinner at the hotel followed by transfer to local sport center for the Opening Ceremony of the Sala Baganza baseball tournament. Overnight at the hotel. (Parma) Day 6 AM: Breakfast at hotel PM: Preliminary games as per the tournament schedule. Free time available depending on game schedule. Evening: Dinner and overnight at the hotel (Parma) Day 7 AM: Breakfast at hotel and then tournament play. PM: Free time for lunch and other tournament activities.
