In the film Green Arrow had to be framed for murder, sent to prison and had to flee. Actors of the story produced by David Goyer and Justin Marx wrote the screenplay for the film starring Green Arrow originally called Super Max. On June 5, 2008, the film was renamed Green Arrow: Escape from Super Max. Reportedly, the storyline is that the hero (framed for a crime he didn't commit) must avoid a maximum-security prison filled with B and C a list of villains and rogue superheroes. The Hollywood Reporter later confirmed that the film was still in development, but it was not among the active projects listed by the studio in their recent announcement to create DC Entertainment. Interestingly, it sounds as though Warners is also planning a separate film of origin For The Green Arrow. Whether the film of Origin will take precedence over Super Max remains to be seen.
