Full-Time Webmaster/Web Developer Naples-based digital marketing firm is currently taking qualified applicants to fill the position of full-time Webmaster/Web Developer. Responsibilities include the development of new builds utilizing the WordPress platform, as well as the support and maintenance of existing sites in collaboration with our SEO and Social Media Specialists. The role will report to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will offer the technical skills required, but also a professional and collaborative attitude. The ideal candidate is also eager to solve challenges, learn new processes, as well as work directly with clients to ensure quality and service. A positive and productive attitude is a must! Position responsibilities: • Build out new sites and web pages and ensure cross browser-compatibility with responsive design using WordPress, HTML and CSS • Collaborate closely with key team members, including SEO and Social Media Specialists • Ensure website maintenance is managed and documented in a timely manner • Propose solutions that will improve user experience • Manage web development production schedule and participate in weekly production meetings • Work directly with clients on support requests and content updates • Coordinate/Research solutions as needed to solve challenges Qualifications: • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional WordPress development experience in a corporate environment or agency • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields • Knowledge of WordPress' architecture, templating, hooks, and REST API • Experience with front-end technologies HTML5, CSS, Browser DevTools • Experience with JavaScript and/or PHP • Experience with Webmaster Tools such as Google Adwords, Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console is preferred.
