Molecular Biologist Postdoctoral position in Experimental Immunology The Department of Biomedicine Experimental Immunology research group at the University Hospital Basel in Switzerland has a postdoctoral research position for a Molecular Biologist available from 1st September 2020 for 3 years to study MR1T cells in cancer 1-3. The Experimental Immunology research group is a well-established team with expertise in Immunology and it has a strong collaboration with clinicians at the University Hospital in Basel and with academic and industrial partners worldwide. The position The candidate will be involved in genetic manipulation of human MR1T cells, in TCR gene repertoire analysis and in gene editing of primary human cells using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Requirements A PhD in Immunology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences is required. The successful candidate will have a proven experience in molecular biology, have demonstrated the ability to work independently and will be a team player with excellent communication and writing skills. Knowledge of R language and experience with single cell studies are of advantage.
