The strength and conditioning department will strive to maximize athletic performance, strength, speed, endurance, power, agility, mobility and injury prevention. This will be accomplished through well-planned and well-executed training programs, research-based periodization, sports performance testing, and ground-based tri-planar multi-joint movements that cater to the demands of each individual sport. We will provide a safe, clean and professional environment for all Hofstra University student-athletes. The Hofstra University Strength and Conditioning Department will collaborate with sports programs, sports medicine staff and athletic administration to ensure the health and well being of all student- athletes.
