The house; with 23 slots available, has only garnered J 7 applications to date. With the current housing situation on campus, Goodwin met with Abbey resident Ian MacBean '00 to discuss the problem. What came out of that meeting was a plan to examine conditions at Abbey and possible solutions to the Jack of applications. Mary Zawieski, head of dining services, was asked to check on the financial practicality of Abbey House. No formal investigation of the cost-effectiveness has begun and Zawies.k.ihad no comment.
