The last wire for the west cable MR. A. HERMANN was placed on October 229 Kent Ave. 16, 1935. Brooklyn, N. Y. On the east suspension bridge, the first wire SAN FRANCISCO-OAKUKO was placed on Nov. 12, BAY BRIDGE 1935 and the last on January 20, 1936. The total quantity of CABLE SPINNING wires placed in the STARTED cables was 19,000 tons.
