Sam Sirianni Night Fort Myers High School FORT MYERS HIGH SCHOOL Letter From the Pricipal Welcome to Fort Myers High School and the 2019-2020 school year. Thank you for attending one of our many athletic events. Since 1949, the current campus of Fort Myers High School has seen many talented students bless its hallways. The fall sports program highlights our football, volleyball, cross country, bowling, golf, swimming, cheerleading, and band programs. The students, coaches, and directors for each of these groups spent their summers preparing for the upcoming seasons. They are to be commended for the hard work, time, sweat, and dedication they put their programs so that our students may perform at their highest capabilities. The Fort Myers community is rich in tradition and we look forward to growing together the “Green Wave Tradition” that has continued for over a hundred years. FMHS is not just a school it is a special place where relationships are built, traditions are kept, and we treat each other like a F.A.M.I.L.Y. It is quite an honor to be part of such a prestigious program that has proven to be one of the winningest football programs in the State of Florida. Thank you to those who have been a part of the great tradition of excellence at Fort Myers High School. I would also like to thank all of the parents, students, teachers, coaches, staff, booster club, and community members that have made an investment in the education of young people; you are a critical piece to our continued success and tradition. At Fort Myers High School we are committed to developing the young minds of today and helping progress those minds into the stellar performers of tomorrow. Thank you again for your support, enjoy the 2020-2021 events, and Go“ Greenies.” Sincerely, Dr. Robert Butz Principal Fort Myers High School “Go Greenies” MFT FORT MYERS HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS Welcome football fans: On behalf of the coaches, administrators, and student-athletes at Fort Myers High School, I would like to welcome you to tonight’s game. Our experienced and loyal staff consistently work to develop young men and women of character and purpose. This commitment to our student-athletes has paved the way for a long standing tradition of success. We expect our student-athletes to demonstrate their success in the classroom, in the community, and on the playing field. Our student-athletes are reminded daily that they are not only representing themselves and their families but also Fort Myers High School. We ask our student-athletes and coaches to conduct themselves with class, dignity, and good character. We ask the fans to please do the same and to show your enthusiasm with good sportsmanship. I would like to thank the booster club members, volunteers, and our corporate part- ners, who enable us to continue our success and help create a family friendly atmo- sphere at our games.
