THE ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS SEASON is a special time in the life of the Calvary Moravian con- gregation as we celebrate the birth and life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! The pandemic has resulted in many changes to our normal services. However, you will be able to “join” your fellow congregation members via the live stream broadcasts as we worship God through the special ser- vices of this season. Here are the remaining services for this month: THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT - DECEMBER 13 - 11:00 a.m. (via live stream) On this traditional “Pageant Sunday,” our service, a mix of “live” and pre-recorded sections, will include the pageant story. “Advent Afternoon” of Music—2:00 p.m. (“A Nutcracker Christmas”) FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT - DECEMBER 20 - 11:00 a.m. On this last Sunday prior to Christmas, we will ponder the wondrous news of Christmas through the telling of the Christmas story through Scripture, hymns, and candles. “Advent Afternoon” of Mu- sic—2:00 p.m. (“A Moravian Christmas”) CHRISTMAS EVE - THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24 All day on Christmas Eve, you will be able to celebrate the birth of the Savior at any time by watching our Lovefeast and Candle Service on the website: www.calvarymoravian.org Scroll down to “Advent and Christmas Eve Schedule.” (see page 3 for more details) FIRST SUNDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS - DECEMBER 27 - 11:00 a.m. On this day just after Christmas, we will meditate upon the wonderful news of our Savior’s birth.
