Production Credits : Directors Douglas Mackinnon (Episodes 1 & 2) Douglas Mackinnon is a prolific director of high-profile television drama but also writes and develops drama projects and directs and produces factual programmes. He was lead director on hit series such as Dirty Work with Neil Pearson, The Vice and The Grand and has directed for other popular series including The Bill, Soldier Soldier, Thieftakers and Back Up. His film credits include The Good Thief for Granada Films, written by and starring Kay Mellor and Gentleman’s Relish, a major BBC ONE film starring starring Billy Connolly and Sarah Lancashire. Alan Macmillan (Episodes 3, 4 & 6) Alan Macmillan is an experienced television director of popular drama and since the Eighties his name has been synonymous with the long-running hit detective drama, Taggart. Alan has directed many episodes and movie versions of the Scottish television phenomenon over the past 12 years. He also has a reputation for directing drama based on real events and memorable films include The Britoil Affair and The Stonehouse Affair, based on the disappearance of MP John Stonehouse. Recently he has directed episodes of the hit dramas, Ballykissangel and The Bill. Morag McKinnon (Episode 5) One of the most exciting young directors currently working in television, Morag McKinnon has a First Class Honours degree in Film and TV from the Edinburgh College of Art. She completed her MsC at The Scottish Film School and where her film, Hoppla! with Kenneth Simpson received a special commendation at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was bought by Channel 4. She has directed several short films, which have been screened in Scotland, London, New York and Los Angeles, as well as at The Venice Film Festival. Her film, Home, for Film Four, won a BAFTA for Best Short Film and the Fox Searchlight Award for Best British Short Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 1999. Nice Guy Eddie is her directorial debut for BBC ONE. 1.
