The Essex County Council (Byway 98/100, Wimbish, Byway 52, Toppesfield, Byway 39 & 40, Greenstead Green, Byway 4 & 10, Coggeshall) (Experimental Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2016 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 9 and 10 and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To introduce an experimental annual Prohibition of Motor Vehicles between the 1 November to 31 March on the following length of Byway 98/100, Wimbish, Byway 52, Toppesfield, Byway 39 & 40, Greenstead Green, Byway 10, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree and Uttlesford as specified: Byway Description Byway 98, Wimbish From a point approximately 75 metres west of ‘Midfield’ at Lower Green, Wimbish Green, south west for a distance of approximately 220 metres to the southern end of Lower House Farm Lane Byway 100, Wimbish From the southern end of Lower House Farm Lane, south for a distance of approximately 550 metres to the north side of ‘Ellis Green Cottage’. Byway 52, Toppesfield From its junction with the road at Thurstons Farm, generally east for a distance of approximately 1100 metres to the road at Meekings Farm at Harrow Hill. Byway 39, Greenstead From its junction with the road east of Claverings Farm, south east Green for a distance of approximately 450 metres to the road at Burtons Green. Byway 40, Greenstead From its junction with Nuntys Lane, south of Burtons Green, south Green & Byway 4, east the south west for a distance of approximately 1500 metres to Coggesghall the road east of Great Monks Wood. Byway 10, Coggeshall From its junction with the road west of Bungate Wood, generally south east for a distance of approximately 1430 metres to its junction with Ambridge Road, north west of the Coggeshall Bypass. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 1 November 2016 and is due to last for a maximum of 18 months. Within a period of six months beginning from the date on which the experimental order came into force, or if that order is varied by another order or modified pursuant to Section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force, any person may object to the making of an order for the purpose of such indefinite continuation.
