January 30, 2019 To the Senior Students & Parents of the Trabuco Hills High School Instrumental Music Program – For the years of work and dedication to the music program and in celebration of your senior year, it is time to have a special event! The instrumental music director and instructional staff would like to a host a dinner for ALL the seniors in the music program. Parents are invited to join in the celebration! We are very excited to announce that the Class of 2019 will have the opportunity to experience Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! This evening performance is at Segerstrom Hall, Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, on Saturday, June 08, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. Step Inside A World Of Pure Imagination Roald Dahl’s treasured tale is now Broadway’s Golden Ticket! It’s the perfect recipe for a delectable treat: songs from the original film, including “Pure Imagination,” “The Candy Man” and “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” alongside a toe-tapping and ear-tickling new score from the songwriters of Hairspray. Willy Wonka is opening his marvelous and mysterious chocolate factory…to a lucky few. That includes Charlie Bucket, whose bland life is about to sweeten with color and confection beyond his wildest dreams. He and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a mesmerizing joyride through a world of pure imagination. Now’s your chance to experience the wonders of Wonka like never before—get ready for Oompa-Loompas, incredible inventions, the great glass elevator and more, more, more at this everlasting showstopper! Due to the popularity of this musical, we want to secure seats together in the section of the theatre most desirable for viewing. Please fill out the attached reservation form to secure your tickets. The completed form and payment is due Tuesday, March 19, 2019, to reserve enough tickets. Show tickets are $52 per person each for the senior student(s) and each parent who would like to attend. Since we are staying local, we will have an early dinner in the Orange County area prior to the evening performance of the show. The details for the dinner (time, location and cost) are still being finalized. We will communicate those details in the coming months. Each student and parent attending the dinner will be responsible for the cost of the meal, as this self-funded event is not covered by the music boosters.
