Stretching a distance of six city blocks , the Grant Boulevard Historic District is a broad, 105-foot-wide, linear, north-to-south-running street which is distinguished by having a single wide roadway flanked by extra wide parkways planted with double rows of deciduous shade trees between the curb and the sidewalk. Of the 120 buildings on the boulevard, 119 are contributing structures and one is a non-contributing residence built less than 50 years ago. All of
