Transportation BY AIR Two regional airports serve the Santa Fe area: the Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and the Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF). Many carriers fly into ABQ; United and American airlines have limited flights into SAF. BY TRAIN Eastbound and westbound Amtrak trains stop at the Lamy, NM station, 17 miles from Santa Fe. The Lamy Station Shuttle runs between Lamy and Santa Fe.
