Patterson launched his first 19 (Sat.) at #17 Georgia W, 5-3 career grand slam last Tuesday against the Privateers, and his three-run homer at Alabama on Saturday broke and 20 (Sun.) at #17 Georgia (JSN) W, 6-4 2-2 tie and propelled the Tigers to an 11-2 victory. Patterson has homered 11 times in LSU's last 13 games, and in 23 (Wed.) Southeastern La. Laval, the 2003 SEC Coach of the Year, was named in 2004 the Louisiana Sportswriters Association Coach of the Year for the third straight season.
