ICRAE2015 Conference-Abstract Proceedings, ISSN: 2308-0825 LITERARY AND NON-LITERARY DISCUSSIONS IN "ALBANIA" MAGAZINE Loreta Loli Universiteti i Tiranes, Fakulteti i Filologjise, Departamenti i Letersise, Albania, Email: [email protected] Abstract If we read again today “Albania” magazine what we immediately notice is the presence of “traditional” and contemporaneous which sounds actual even today.The articles, individualized invitations and individualized replies of the most well known writers of the late ‘800-s, made Albania a mile stone of the press in Albanian culture press. It looks even now so contemporaneous, something similar like face book of our days, where the new literatures feeds being discussed creating and keeping alive the literature communication network. We will stop in the articles of Faik Konica, Filip Shiroka, Asdreni, Çajupi which are displayed in different numbers of the magazine.Through text analyzes we will find out those contexts where occurs this phenomenon, will analyze the used language, same or identical expressions used by authors involved in the debate, their method of construction of literary figures, the construction of titles and other textual indications.The press, furthermore the one of those years, which for the history of the national press is very important, because in that magazine not only was kept alive and empowered the Albanian conscience, but for the first time there begun e considerable number of new literary currencies, being affirmed and being discussed topics that were “foreign” to the local Albanian context, since most part of population was illiterate, this magazine offered the opportunity for the writers and critics to meet and discuss their ideas. In this communication channel we will analyze the role of the readers, starting from some specifics of this magazine, which first was published in Buxelles and then in London. Since the times of distribution back in Albania were considerably long (few weeks), the part that takes the reader is specific. The second view of the replies are those which can be classified like non-literature replies. Here are included the writings of well known and less known figures of the Albanian world in those years. The most particularity of this kind of communication are the public apologies made by the authors, whenever they realized that they wrote inappropriately. In this cases the article is given in the form of prose or poetry.
