GOBO LED Light DS-1404A USER MANUAL !2 1. Introduction Thank you for purchasing our GOBO LED light. Please read these instructions carefully before operating to avoid any possible damage and accidents caused by misuse. The GOBO LED light has a hydrodynamic aluminum shell. One 10W white LED is used to create a bright light output. It draws low power and is low weight. Packing List - LED GOBO Light - User manual - Power cord 2. GOBO Installation Unscrew the 2 knobs on the top of the projector and remove the piece from inside Place the GOBO in the center hole. Squeeze the ring and place it on top of the GOBO to ensure the GOBO stays in place. After the GOBO is placed in the correct orientation, place the GOBO holder back into the projector and screw it on. !5 5. Operation The easiest way to operate your projector is through the remote control. You can also use the buttons on the projector to go through the options. All of the options are set using a scale of 0-255. To set it to the number you desire, move UP or DOWN to that number and press ENTER. The light will turn off, then press ENTER again. R - Red light intensity (0 off, 1 dimmest, 255 brightest) G - Green light intensity (0 off, 1 dimmest, 255 brightest) B - Blue light intensity (0 off, 1 dimmest, 255 brightest) W - White light intensity (0 off, 1 dimmest, 255 brightest) SHUT - Strobe effect. 0 = no strobe effect. 1-255 different strobe pattern and speed GOBO - Rotation feature. 000 = off 1-100 = different positions 101-170 = different speeds of counterclockwise rotation 185 - 250 = different speeds of clockwise rotation NOTE: R, G, B options are only for color projector. Display Operation Instruction MENU access the menu or return to a previous menu option ENTER select the current menu option UP menu selection or parameter increments DOWN menu selection or parameters decrease Instructions: Master mode sends a DMX signal to all other LED light units connected via DMX. Slave mode receives the incoming DMX signal from the Master, using the values set by the Master unit.This allows for a large group of lights to be connected and controlled by only one light. For Master mode, press ENTER on the unit to display “*” on the LED display. Select the ADDR Menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER. 2. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate between channels 1 - 512. 3. Press ENTER to select your desired channel. 6.2 Static Setting 1. Select the STAT menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select WHITE, SHUT, or GOBO. 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to set up the【0-255】numerical value. 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. 6.3 Channel Mode Setting 1. Select the SET menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the CHMD menu by pressing ENTER 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select 3CH or 5CH 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. 6.4 Dimming Mode Setting 1. Select the SET menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the DIM menu by pressing ENTER 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select OFF, DIM1, DIM2, DIM, 3 or DIM4 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. Select the SET menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the DISY menu by pressing ENTER 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select ON, 2MIN. 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. 6.6 Calibrating the GOBO to Original Position 1. Select the SET menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the CALP menu by pressing ENTER 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to set up the 0-255 numerical value. 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. 6.7 Auto Run, Self-Program 1. Select the AUTO menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select AT01, AT02,AT03, CHS1, CHS2, CHS3 3. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. !11 6.8 Edit Self-Program 1. Select the PROG menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select CHS1, CHS2, or CHS3 3. Press the ENTER button for confirmation and enter to the next menu. 4. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select from SC1-SC20 5. Press the ENTER button for confirmation and enter to the next menu. 6. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select W, GOBO, TIME, WAIT, USE, or SHUT 7. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to set the parameter which are needed. 8. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. When USE is set to NO,or the parameter of TIME is 0, it will not run this scene. When WAIT is set to be FADE time, the running process is as the following chart showing. 6.9 Checking Lighting Information 1. Select the INFO menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. SOFT is for software version information. 3. POW is for the current information of power reduction. 100% is the normal output. Projector will reduce to 80% or 50% output to protect from over-heating. www.EddyLight.com 1-800-914-3538 !12 6.10 Lighting Setting Parameter Reset 1. Select the LOAD menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the ST L menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 3. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select YES or NO. 4. Press the ENTER button to escape and save. ADDR, CALP and “PROG” are not reset, the others reset to the underlined value of the word. 6.11 PROG: SELF-PROGRAMMING PARAMETER RESET 1. Select the LOAD menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 2. Select the PR L menu by navigating to it and pressing ENTER 3.
