RACQ Animal Nursery When: 9am to 5pm Where: RACQ Animal Nursery Ages: All ages The much-loved RACQ Animal Nursery is home to hundreds of cute and cuddly animals to interact with. 4 Excursion planner 2021 LEARNING TRAIL .Sheep Shearing Show When: 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm Where: Mi-Feed Pavilion Ground Floor Ages: All ages Shearers will demonstrate how to shear a sheep using electric shears, while giving insight into the wool industry. They’ll also teach students the process of grading wool and will talk about the different products made using wool. Norco Milking Barn When: 9:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm Where: Norco Shed Ages: All ages The Norco Milking Barn is the place to go to watch live milking demonstrations and learn the art of separating cream and butter from milk. Some visitors will also have the opportunity to bring out the farmer within and milk a cow for themselves.
