Role Description Volunteer Role (title): European Federation Team Member Functional Area: Sport Competition Brief Role Description: You will be part of the team responsible for greeting European Federation delegates and technical officials from across the Europe, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event at the venue. Key Responsibilities: Attend the team briefing at the start of the shift and the debrief at the end Pre, during and post competition check the Technical Official spaces and LEN spaces e.g. that they are clean and tidy; ensure the necessary consumables are in supply. Ensure the LEN work spaces have all the TEC provision as required and that it is functioning Liaise with the Services Manager to resolve any LEN transport issues Responsible for greeting European Federation delegate’s from across Europe, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event. Accept Sport Specific submissions / declarations from Team Leaders’ e.g. any protests, dive sheets, etc. Skills Required: Experience of working with LEN / FINA personnel Knowledge of the role and requirements of Technical Officials and members of the Technical Committees Friendly approach Reliable and detailed oriented Ability to work in a team Good communication skills Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the technical meeting requirements Understanding of the competition form processes Based at: Tollcross International Swimming Centre Dates required: From 3rd December – 8th December 2019 The shifts will be approximately 8.5hrs in duration Please note you must be available throughout this period and to attend one day training prior to this .
