Wine Australia for Australian Wine Inspired Tasting Australia House • London 26 October 2017 Wine regions of Australia Introduction Welcome to our Inspired Tasting. With 65 wine regions and a geography DARWIN that spans the equivalent of Europe, there is much in Australia that is both daunting and inspirational. The landscape of Australian wine is constantly changing and, every time we visit, we are overwhelmed by the passion, energy and innovation we find in the vineyards and wineries. Today’s tasting is a small snapshot of carefully chosen wines that have inspired our visitors over the last few years. Some are firm favourites Northern Territory revisited with each successive vintage; others reflect the first time visit to a region or winery; some represent that ‘eureka’ moment while others are Queensland the discovery of the previously unknown, the unusual and the surprising. Western Australia There is a story behind each choice which we share with you so that you, too, can be inspired by Australian wine. 28 South Eastern We hope you enjoy this event!
