Nurul Izzah reclaims lead in PKR veep race Malaysiakini.com November 08, 2010 Lembah Pantai parliamentarian Nurul Izzah Anwar has reclaimed her lead in the PKR veep race after the tally of the official results for this week's voting was announced at the party headquarters in Petaling Jaya today. azlanNurul Izzah is leading with 4,845 votes, over director of strategy Tian Chua's 3,933. She has a clear lead of 912. In a surprising turn of events, Tian Chua stole the lead from Nurul Izzah last week as he led then with 3,621 votes, 78 ahead of Nurul Izzah. Two other leading candidate for the veep race are Penang Deputy Chief Minister I Mansor Hj Othman (3,552) and Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh (3,370). azlanMeanwhile, in the race for PKR Youth chief, incumbent Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin currently leads with 1,455 votes, closely followed by Badrul Hisham Shaharin who garnered 1,418 votes. The race for deputy PKR Youth chief saw outgoing Selangor Youth chief Khairul Anuar leading with 1,668 votes, while his challenger Chang Lih Kang follows with 1,039 votes. In the race for the PKR Wanita wing chief, incumbent Zuraida Kamaruddin is currently leading with 1,568, followed by challengers Animah Ferrer (489) and Suraya Sudin (570). However, the current official results do not include voting results from nine more divisions, mostly from Sabah, which have not yet submitted their official tally sheets to the party secretariat.
