2021 Mountainside Community Pool Guidelines Last Revised June 8, 2021 The Mountainside Community Pool staff is well-positioned to manage any COVID-related policy changes mandated by the DOH. We had a successful and safe 2020 season, thanks to the hard work of our staff and the cooperation of our members in following all safety protocols set by the State Department of Health (DOH). For the 2021 season, we are also planning on having swim lessons and running our swim team program. We will be following all guidelines which include the following: • Pool Hours June 12&13 (11:00am to 6:00pm) June 19 - August 1 12:00 noon to 7:30 pm weekdays 11:00 am to 7:30 pm weekends August 2 - September 6 11:00 am to 7:30 pm • Face masks recommended when entering through the breezeway, in the locker room & bathrooms and/or areas where it is difficult to social distance. • All members of different households are encouraged to stay a min of 6’ apart. • Social distancing requirements are in effect both in and out of the water. • Chairs will be provided but are limited to one per member – members may bring their own deck chair. • No congregating on pool stairs. • No standing within 6’ of the stairs or ladders. • All members must have an updated pool photo. No one will be admitted without a photo ID card. • All members are required to scan passes when entering the pool – No Exceptions. • All lost and found items will be discarded at the end of the day. Nothing will be left for lost and found • The Picnic grove will be an extension of the pool grounds with multiple entry points. • No Guests at the start of the season. • Separate entry and departure points will be in effect. Entry will continue through the main gate and the exit will continue to be through the picnic grove as it was in 2020. Please note that the area by the picnic grove has recently been repaved for safety and accessibility.
