With limited and depleting conventional energy resources, India is pursuing an aggressive renewable energy (RE) generation program. The RE potential is vast and largely untapped in India. The session will discuss the technological options to facilitate increase in efficiency of transport sector with focus on freight movement from road to rail, high speed trains and improved options for commuting.
