Previous meetings • Robbie Keane scored a 13-minute hat-trick as Ireland beat Gibraltar 7-0 in their first Group D meeting on 11 October 2014. • That 7-0 win – and Poland's and Germany's 7-0 triumphs against Gibraltar – remains the most substantial victory in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying to date. • Had they scored one more goal, Ireland would have matched the their biggest previous qualifying win: 8-0 against Malta in October 1983. Disciplinary • Gibraltar defender Joseph Chipolina is a yellow card away from a suspension. • Ireland's Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy, James McClean, Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson are all a booking away from a one-game ban. Form guide • Andorra and Gibraltar are the only sides who have lost all six of their opening UEFA EURO 2016 qualifiers. Gibraltar have conceded 34 goals to Andorra's 23. • Gibraltar are yet to score a competitive goal at home – Lee Casciaro scored their first competitive goal in a 6-1 defeat in Scotland. It remains their only Group D strike. • Ireland have not won a competitive game since they last met Gibraltar (D3 L1). They conceded once in each of those four games – three 1-1 draws and a 1-0 loss in Scotland. • Ireland's 2-1 win in Georgia in their opening Group D game remains their only away win in their last six competitive fixtures on the road (W1 D2 L3). Trivia and links • Allen Bula led Gibraltar for their first four qualifiers, with Dave Wilson in interim charge for the next three games. Englishman Jeff Wood was appointed in July 2015 and the home meeting with Ireland will be his first competitive match. • The nations' Under-17 teams met in a UEFA qualifier in October 2013, with Ireland winning the game in Yerevan 4- 1. That was the Gibraltar U17s' first competitive fixture. 3 Gibraltar - Republic of Ireland Friday 4 September 2015 - 20.45CET (19.45 local time) Match press kit Estádio Algarve, Faro-Loulé Squad list Gibraltar Current season Overall Qual.
