Sri Pradeep P Gidwani, Hyderabad-500020 has filed 2nd appeal dated 30-11-2016 which was received by this Commission on 01-12-2016 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o The Tahsildar, Vinayak Nagar ‘X’ Road, Malkajgiri Mandal, Medchal District and 1st Appellate Authority / O/o The Special Grade Deputy Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer, Malkajgiri Division, Malkajgiri-Medchal District. 2. The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 24-08-2016 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application: 3. The Public Information Officer has not furnished the information to the appellant. 4. Since the appellant did not receive the information from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 14-10-2016 before the 1st Appellate Authority requesting him to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. 5. The 1st Appellate Authority has requested the appellant and the Public Information Officer to appear before his office for hearing on 18-11-2016 at 11:30 AM. vide notice no. K/2124/2016, dated 10-11-2016. 6. As the appellant did not get the information from the Public Information Officer / 1st Appellate Authority even after 30 days of filing his 1st appeal, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005. The Appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 23-02-2018. P.T.O The case is called on 23-02-2018. The Appellant is absent. The Public Information Officer is present. The Public Information Officer submitted that the sought information was pertains to the Old Adangal Pahani 1945-55, Sethwar/Supplement Sethwar, Resettlement Register, TSLR, Wasoolbaqui which are not available in their office and the appellant has not mentioned the years for which he requires Chowfasla and Faisal Patti in his 6(1) application. However the Khasra pahanis for the year 1954-55 of Kowkoor Village was furnished to the appellant vide letter dated 22-02-2018. The Public Information Officer further submitted that the Appellant has made several applications to different Departments. The information sought is very old and whatever information is available has been furnished. Since the available information is furnished, the case is closed.
