And for free?” Robert says. He recalled being a struggling student and didn’t think he could be successful in school at his age. Once enrolled in 2016, he was unstoppable and earned straight A’s. “Now, I feel empowered,” he says. “I plan on getting my bachelor’s degree and becoming a social worker in mental health.” REI students come from all walks of life, but they share a curiosity to learn about mental health.
