Called to Order: 7:00 pm 1. Rochester Lancers- Rich Randall shared activities planned for the season including: Soccer Sam group nights-kids under 12 are free; for club nights mid Nov. until Feb.email rochesterlancers.com; Lancers will play at Blue Cross Arena-Bill Andrachi coach, Doug Miller, player. 2. On-line Game Reporting • Remind teams that the game process is going to be different this year. During the preseason, coaches must enter roster and team information.' 3. End of year bills • Clubs need to log-in to see finalized bills for the 2011 season. As of 9/25/11 only 13 clubs logged in. 4. Referees and discipline • 3- man officiating at U15 for 2013 season-yes. Please budget for this. Approximately additional $300 per team per club. • Club improvement activities – All 14 clubs present are in support of RDYSL being proactive with respect to chronic problems with teams/clubs • Team sportsmanship awards- should we continue? • Leadership Award=1 club: River Flow SC • Model Club Awards=5 clubs: Bloomfield, Central Western United SC, Genesee Lancers, Genesee Valley Bronze Bears, Penfield Strikers To receive any awards each organization must send their 501C3 certificate to Janet Wright [email protected] and pay their fines on time. 5. League rules, policies, and organization • Preview of rules changes for 2011 season. Officially rolled out at November AGM. 2 REMINDER: RDYSL Annual General Meeting is November 20, 7:00 PM Monroe Community College- Empire Room (Park in Lot M) • State of the League • Announcement of Awards • Election of Officers 1. Additional Topics: • There was some discussion about scheduling fewer games for U10, and more games for U19 • Some clubs discussed getting together to apply for NYS West Grant, specifically goals.
