While you’ve been away, we’ve been busy completing the second phase of the development of No.1 Court, as well as making some significant improvements to our debenture facilities. In Centre Court, we’ve re-designed and upgraded The Courtside Restaurant providing a new entrance via the North Lobby. We’ve also introduced The Courtside Brasserie, a new restaurant that offers a casual menu served throughout the day. Over on No.1 Court, new floor-to-ceiling windows in the Debenture Lounge give a spectacular panoramic view over Courts 15–17, while above the court itself the fixed roof is back in place, leaving only the fully retractable part to be installed for 2019. Since 1920, debenture holders have played a leading role in helping us improve the Grounds and I would like to thank you for your continued support. And so, to this year’s Championships. What lies ahead? How will the action play out? Whatever happens, we can look forward to the enticing prospect of the world’s best tennis players pursuing their dream of greatness on the world’s finest tennis stage. We hope you have a very enjoyable and memorable visit to Wimbledon.
