Infrastructure Plan (Plan) was created in 2008–09 on behalf of The Greater Memphis Chamber (Chamber) and its members. The goal of this plan was to identify the capabilities and capacities of the region’s current freight infrastructure systems and recommend strategic projects that have the most potential to integrate these systems with emerging global supply-chain requirements. The Chamber has been a leader in promoting Memphis as a major transportation and logistics center.
