Extra reeds, valve/slide oil, mouthpiece - winds Towel to stand on Flags/sabre/rifle - guard Band Jacket Mallets or drum sticks – percussion/pit 2018 “Imagine” T-shirt Make-up for guard Appropriate undergarments (for changing on bus) Bobby pins, clips, rubber bands for long hair, Marching or Guard Shoes hairspray for tucking hair under hats Black Socks Money for snacks or souvenirs at competition Band Gloves (winds only, if they are not in your uniform bag) (Jewelry, watches, etc will have to be removed during Band Jacket , long pants, hats, gloves to wear after the competition so best to keep them at home performance Bottle of water Bus Policy: 1 All students must ride to and from competitions on the bus. Exceptions will be made on an individual basis (illness, family logistics) and must be requested in writing and approved by Mr. Hill in advance of the trip. Directions for Buses and Support Vehicles th From areas around the Bay Area: take US 101 north or south toward Gilroy, Exit 10 Street and head west (left if traveling north, right th th if heading south), continue on 10 Street follow 10 street until you see the high school on the left. To get to the Football Stadium, turn left unto Princevalle and turn right into the gate of Gilroy High School. * Parking attendants will assist bus/pit groups upon arrival.** Parking, Tickets and Spectator Info Princevalle lot **$5 . Entrance Fee - General Admission $12, Students with ID $8, Children under 5 Free. - Can be purchased at gate, or for Online tickets: https://m.bpt.me/event/3611612 Gates open at 3:30 pm. The Field Shows (starting with the smallest bands) begin at 4:00 pm; our performance is at 7:48 followed by larger bands (very exciting to see), with award ceremony at 9:45 pm. A Snack Bar is available at the competition for spectators. Cash and credit cards accepted.
