Among other things, these guidelines may require participants to wear face masks, to wash/ sanitize hands, to maintain social distancing, and to programs have temperatures taken on a daily or more frequent basis. New site amenities include playground equipment, a shelter, site furnishings and pedestrian walkway improvements. RECREATION STAFF • Pine Trail Park - Construction is ongoing and this park is scheduled to be open this summer. Project included construction of a new Director of Parks & Recreation playground, shelter and amenities, with additional landscaping, Kelly Rajzer pathways and security lighting. Superintendent of Recreation • Project Lake Strini – This project has begun and will include: Marissa Cardoni pathways, boardwalk along the east portion of the lake, sunning steps, Superintendent of Parks fitness stations, pier improvements, fishing and wildlife enhancements Robert Constantine and a bike repair station. Manager of Revenue & • Ribbon cutting of the new Dog Park with the DCEO Grant - The Athletic Facilities Village of Romeoville received funding through the Illinois Capital Bill Noel Maldonado, CPRP through the Department of Commerce (DCEO) to create a dog park Office Manager that will be located on the Diocese Property. This Dog Park Project Brittany Abrams area will include an entry drive, a portion of parking, walkways, shelter, Recreation Center Supervisor site furniture, fencing, lighting, planting, signs, and access control. Gather your friends for a pickup game of basketball or volleyball, work out in the fitness center, join in on a group fitness class, host a party in one of their private party rooms, or just lounge in one of its many quiet seating areas. Whatever your interest or activity level there is plenty to do or not do!
