[email protected] WORLD WAR II ONLINE MEMORIAL PROJECTS: EXPERIENCE OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES Abstract. An attempt to describe the common features and peculiarities of the online memorial projects which are devoted to the events of World War II is done. This type of the source of collective memory is relatively new brand which was not found sufficient discussion in historical and political sience. The main attention is oriented at analyses of global and national thematic online projects; websites of different museums and memorial complexes; individual projects of foreign countries. This research is made on the example of American, Dutch, French, German, Japanese and Polish projects. Common features of the noted on-line produce is done. These are: focus on visually attractive maps, photographs, drawings, letters, diaries, etc.; accent on so-called "everyday history"; orientation at the international audience (presence of “other” language content, and most popular is English); usage of the social networking with aim to attract more extensive auditory; to present possibilities for educational, research work for online visitors; availability of open databases and useful links to other memorial projects. [email protected] STATE – THE MAIN INSTRUMENT OF SELF-MANAGEMENT OF SOCIETY (to the question of Ukrainian realities) Abstract. It is offered social and system approach to understanding the governance role of the state which is reflected not in strengthening its power functions or increasing its predominance, but significantly in governmental structures’ moving towards professional servicing organizational and legal needs of the society and its self- organization. It is proved according to analysis of the current world civilizational trends that in relations between leading states as well as between social structures within states which are represented in functional and institutional aspects, one should mainly focus on institutional ones which are crucial in the mankind’s historical development to the highest level of its system organization. With due regard to the noted position as a research interpretation of the problem self-organizational potential of Ukrainian society is of need of relevant organizational support of the state mainly in the legal aspect which determines its approach to the global civilization space, practical solutions of the issues of its present and perspective development. [email protected] IMPERATIVES OF FORMING OF THE USA GLOBAL POLICY Abstract. There is an attempt to describe by original method the modern imperatives of globalization phenomenon., developement of world leadership, as well as the role of the USA in the system of international relations. Basic trend in world political processes is analized. Is is noted necessity of subsequent analysis of the USA influences on the modern geopolitical situation. Dynamics of development of the modern world and formation of the leading actors of international relations of the twentieth century are discussed.. It is revealed the constructive role of the USA international policy which in addition to favourable geographic location and well- controlled financial policy makes it possible to preserve the leading position of the USA at the world arena. It is noted that the USA is the main and only globalization actor which is able to adjust the processes of transformational changes in all corners of the world, to influence the dynamics of economic development in different regional and interregional scales, to influence inner and outer policy processes of the majority of 4 modern countries. It is outlined that formation of a global transformation is driven not only by imperatives of the global political needs of America but also by the demands of transnational corporations.
