During her years as a poster publisher and distributor, Leader assembled an extensive collection of art posters, which chronicles exhibitions from museums and galleries around the world. Leader has been considered an expert in the field of art posters, and often called upon to evaluate the value of posters. In 1993, Leader donated her art poster collection to the UCLA Library. The first portion of the collection came to UCLA in 1993, and the remainder was given in 2000. Scope and Content Roz Leader Art Poster Collection is a collection of over 1300 art posters with a diverse range in artists, genres of art, collections and institutions. The bulk of the collection dates from 1960s to 1980s, and the collection records exhibitions held in major museums and galleries during this period. While it consists of art posters from various countries, the bulk of the collection focuses on Europe and North America. The majority of the collection relates to exhibitions, yet some posters document special events, such as American Revolution Bicentennial, Art Expo, and Houston Grand Opera. With its strengths on Modern Art and Contemporary Art, the collection offers a broad survey on works of art by several-hundred renowned artists, such as Mary Cassatt, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Kandinsky, Andre Kertesz, Roy Lichtenstein, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro, Piet Mondrian, Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg, Man Ray, Mark Rothko, Alfred Stieglitz, Toulouse Lautrec, Beth Van Hoesen, and Francisco Zuniga.
