Background The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) has issued this document as a recommendation regarding the minimum technical requirements to be met by DVB-T2 receivers in order to facilitate high-quality reception of free-to-air digital terrestrial television services in the Republic of Croatia. The Recommendation was developed as part of the round table of HAKOM by representatives of HAKOM, Agency for Electronic Media, broadcast network and multiplex operators, the public and private broadcasters and academia representatives. The allocation of the Digital Dividend II for mobile services in EU member states is expected to be finished by 30 June 2022. Consequently, it leads to the loss of frequencies above 694 MHz for the terrestrial broadcasting.
