Hotard took the helm as president and chief executive officer of Trailways. Ms. Hotard succeeds Gale C. Ellsworth, who is retiring after serving nearly two decades as the organization’s president/CEO. am so thrilled to be your new president & CEO. It is truly I an honor and I’m very excited to be on board. I believe that the 80-year-old Trailways brand is very powerful. It’s a tremendous strength. So, building on the brand and leveraging resources are what I want to concentrate on. A strong brand helps everyone on the Trailways Team. Safety will be a critical area of my focus for Trailways. I have a passion about safety! My goal is to position Trailways as this industry’s leader in safety. I also believe in combining an emphasis on safety with driver management. At Trailways, I anticipate implementing elements of an online, modular, computer-based learning program for drivers. I have been collaborating with the Alliance Safety Council Eva Hotard to introduce the program to the motorcoach industry to improve driver performance Trailways President and to support company owners in risk mitigation. and CEO Corporate cultures that embrace learning and growing always end-up leading the pack. This year, IPW was held in New Orleans in mid-June F(20-22) and Trailways was prominently featured with a double booth. All Trailways companies are invited to attend IPW and other trade shows on a cost-share basis. Three prominent Trailways companies attended and all secured new clients from the event: Fullington Trailways (PA), VIA Trailways (AZ/CA) and Burlington Trailways (IO).
